Sheltered by a mighty, dark green coniferous forest of larches, Swiss stone pines, and spruces, nestling in sparse, bright green alpine meadows is where you will find our "Ütia" Munt Planfistí overlooking Corvara. The birds chirp and the imposing pale grey Dolomites rise towards the clouds. Here the world turns more slowly – exactly at the pace that is comfortable for you. We want you too to experience this wonderful feeling, and so you are cordially invited to visit us here! The chalet is open from June to September.

In good weather, the natural terrace offers a magnificent view of the Dolomites, the wood darkened by the sun radiates a warm atmosphere, whilst inside a wood-panelled "Stube" awaits. The perfect place to be together and enjoy the typically alpine ambienceinviting, simple and perfect for being happy.

Just you and …

A special place

We, the hosts of LaFlu, love being here and every autumn we already look forward to spending the following summer on the alpine pasture. The alpine chalet, our "Ütia", as it is called in Ladin, is our great passion. The name Planfistí cannot really be translated literally. Plan means “plain” and fistí “watering trough”. During the warm season, you'll hardly find us in the valley. And don't worry – at LaFlu there is always someone available to take care of you as our guest and see that your wishes are fulfilled.

You, the Dolomites, and the unique taste of traditional Ladin cuisine.

Taste the simplicity

Traditional cuisine

Kneading bread dumplings, frying bacon ... it’s pure meditation, and nobody knows this better than our host, Hubert. The bacon dumplings are just one of many typical South Tyrolean and Ladin dishes that he prepares with passion using local products. Our alpine pasture is especially well known for its delicious goulash. Cows and goats also live up here, and we milk the latter ourselves for their nutrient-rich milk. Maria always makes butter, and with the goat's milk, fresh cheese, yogurt, and ricotta for our ricotta cake. All desserts are baked strictly according to tried and tested original family recipes.

Our beautiful chalet is easily reached on foot. The path is very manageable, so you can get here without any difficulties even with a pushchair. Simply follow hiking trail number 638. Our “Ütia” is a 15-minute walk from the Campolongo Pass, or 45 minutes from the Boé cable car mountain station.

Our tip: start in the valley while it's still dark and experience sunrise on the alpine pasture – you’ll be enchanted by the Dolomite glow, known as "Enrosadira" in Ladin! If you prefer to sleep a little longer, then come in the afternoon for an aperitivothe Dolomites also glow rosy-red at dusk. After a hike on the Boé, for example, you can end the day here.
