We are located right at the Col Alto lift and the entrance to Dolomiti Superski. Corvara’s legacy as a cherished holiday destination lies not just in its scenic beauty but also in its rich history and culture. Home to Italy’s first chairlift – built in 1946 – today, our guests can enjoy the convenience of impromptu skiing adventures and access the slopes straight from our house. Corvara is a key entry point to the Sellaronda ski circuit, offering easy access to the majestic Marmolada glacier. Dedicate a day to exploring the WWI ski tour, a route that meanders beneath Col di Lana, showcasing trenches and fortifications – the remnants of WWI’s mountain warfare – amidst the snow and rock. The tour affords breathtaking views of iconic Dolomite peaks such as the Sella, Marmolada, Civetta, Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofana, Lagazuoi, Conturines and Sassongher, some visible directly from our apartments. Dive deeper into the history and culture of South Tyrol through our local museums and cultural events.
